One video shows animations produced using off-the-shelf animation software, and the other video shows an animation that has been enhanced using an algorithm we designed for introducing speed and pausing modulations to the animation. These were shown experimentally to improve native ASL signer's comprehension of the videos and their memory of the information content within.
